With majors in both Finance and Civil Engineering and an M.B.A. from Columbia University, Faris has worked with Ernst & Young in Mergers & Acquisitions as well as Transaction Advisory Services for the healthcare, telecom and utilities industries.
Dr. Amer Alnajar, M.D.
Chief Strategy Officer
Dr. Alnajar is a firm believer and avid advocate of improved delivery systems of healthcare, particularly among senior citizens. Dr. Alnajar’s work is based on a vision: higher quality healthcare without the administrative redundancies or waste of the current antiquated systems at an unparalleled cost. Inspired by this, Dr. Alnajar has led the company from the perspective of clinical and services development, working to innovate and provide the kind of experience for patients and caretakers that is progressive yet familiar. Dr. Alnajar received his MD degree from Drexel University College of Medicine.
Dr. Pradip Shah, M.D.
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Shah is a veteran geriatrician with over 30 years of experience in his field. Having received his Fellowship from Mount Sinai Hospital, he now serves as the medical director at Crane’s Mill where he exclusively works with Medicare members.
Dr. Shah plays a crucial role in Vytalize Health’s team as Chief Medical Officer where, with the help of his extensive experience, he hopes to implement a level of geriatric care that is as thorough as it is convenient.
Ann Rhodes, N.P.
VP of Operations
Ms. Rhodes graduated magna cum laude from Plattsburgh State University where she received a BSN degree and was invited to join Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society. She went on to attend the College of Mount Saint Vincent where she completed the MSN/Family Nurse Practitioner Program and graduated summa cum laude. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and she is licensed as a registered nurse and a family nurse practitioner in New York and Connecticut.
Ms. Rhodes is experienced in primary care, caring for adults and the elderly, preventive health, oncology and breast care. She is the president and founder of the Nurse Practitioner Network of Rockland County, a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association, Clarkstown Sunrise Rotary Club and American Academy of Homecare Medicine. On April 23, 2013 she was proudly awarded as a Community Service Honorary for the Home Aides of Rockland.
Neil M. Pressman
Senior VP, Strategic Direction
Neil M. Pressman has a comprehensive background and extensive experience in numerous areas of healthcare management consulting. In 1989, Mr. Pressman formed Presscott Associates, a management consulting practice servicing provider, health plan, and life sciences clients in the healthcare industry. In January 2013, Presscott Associates combined with ParenteBeard and in 2014 ParenteBeard merged into Baker Tilly. Currently, Neil serves on the Board of Directors for Saint Joseph’s Medical Center, and is also a member of the Finance Committee.
Dr. Samir W. Khalil, M.D.
Medical Director, NJ
Dr. Samir W. Khalil is a Board-certified Family Medicine Physician, and is currently Medical Director at Vytalize Health. Dr. Khalil oversees medical operations, the dedicated team of nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals, and is wholeheartedly committed to improving quality and accessibility of primary care medicine for seniors.
Dr. Khalil completed his residency and internship in Family Medicine at New Jersey’s Virtua, one of New Jersey’s largest nonprofit health systems. Prior to joining the team at Vytalize Health, Dr. Khalil practiced as an Urgent Care physician as well as a hospitalist at St. Barnabas Hospital, a 577-bed nonprofit teaching hospital in Livingston, New Jersey. He is an active advocate of preventive medicine and optimizing the quality of life of the elderly, evidenced by his work with seniors since his residency at Virtua, where elderly patients were cared for during house call visits.
Human Resources Manager
Jennifer is responsible for the functional management and development of human resources, recruiting strategies, as well as the day-to-day operations at Vytalize Health. Key functions include attracting leading medical professionals, promoting a culture of engagement and innovation and overseeing daily functions of the in-house medical and administrative teams. She works in collaboration with clinical directors and administrative staff to identify useful organizational practices to facilitate improved delivery systems of care for patients.
Jennifer is a graduate of Baruch College in New York City and, prior to joining Vytalize Health in May 2016, she held managerial roles in business operations, human capital management and talent acquisitions at leading sports medicine, physical therapy and pain management startups in New York City. She is passionate about enhancing the use of technology and other innovative measures to offer patient-centered and efficient healthcare services to those who need it most.
